Garrett Nelson founded G78 Music in April 2020. The Logo was influenced by Garrett’s father who died of colon cancer April 14th of 2020. The letter “G” standing for his name, and “78” for the year of his Porsche 911 that he and his father built through Garrett’s Highschool Career.

Born in 2003, and adopted shortly after, Garrett grew up in Cody Wyoming, graduating with a little over 100 students in his class. Garrett participated in every musical class offered at his school. He performed in all ensembles, going on to play for Wyoming All-State ensembles with saxophone as his instrument of choice.

Garrett now studies at the School of Music at Montana State University, pursuing his bachelor’s in music technology with his focus on Film Scoring.
